Born in Shropshire in 1974, Gaynor now lives in Derbyshire with her husband and two young boys.

Despite having racked up 20 years experience as a teacher, 15 years experience as an examiner and nearly 11 years experience as a Mum, it’s safe to say that she is constantly bewildered by just how easily she can be made to feel like a complete novice in any one of these fields!

Join her on her journey to better understand the constantly changing landscape of her life. Moments of humour, heartache and sheer confusion abound; the only consolation being that writing is a relatively inexpensive outlet for a midlife crisis!
